The Passion of Edith Cavell at Brussels Cathedral

cavellTNOn the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the execution of Edith Cavell in Schaerbeek, Brussels Cathedral is hosting a polyptych by Brian Whelan, commissioned by Norwich Cathedral, evoking the life of this remarkable woman.

The official opening was on July 12th at 3pm, in the presence of Alison Rose, British Ambassador to Belgium, and the exhibition ran from July 12th to August 23rd 2015.
